This year we are excited to announce our National Youth Jazz Competition Big Band initiative.
Our goal is to assemble a Big Band of some of the most outstanding young jazz musicians in Aotearoa.

Welcome to theWright Family Foundation47th National Youth Jazz Competition
To be held 7-9 April 2025 at Baycourt Community & Arts Centre, Tauranga. 27 coveted trophies for best in competition, prizes including $1400 cash prizes plus bronze, silver and gold awards not to mention an exciting programme of performances, workshops and jams. Registrations open online 12 August 2024.
