In 2025 and 2026 an auditioned NYJC Big Band performed at the National Youth Jazz Competition. Under the direction of MD Paul Norman, these outstanding young musicians blew us away with their talent.

The NYJC Big Band initiative is taking a hiatus in 2027 so we can plan something special for the 50th National Youth Jazz Competition in 2028. Stay tuned for further details.
